The mission of the Office of Academic Innovation and Distance Education (AIDE) is to enhance student learning by providing faculty the support, services, and resources they need to achieve excellence as instructors. AIDE staff members facilitate the implementation of innovative approaches to achieve the pedagogical development of faculty and improve learning by students. The office supports and expands student access to UMB educational opportunities through the application of advanced instructional technology, policy, and strategic planning.
