Security Officer Jeremy Revis enjoys helping people and training new security officers who join University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) Public Safety. 

Revis has been a security officer for nearly five years, spending three years with Fort Meade before coming to UMB. As a security officer, he meets new people every day. 

“Learning where everything is located downtown can be a challenge,” says Revis. He learns the area by “getting lost,” which helps him to find different routes to navigate campus.

Outside of work, Revis likes to spend time with his dog, visit family, watch movies, and play video games. Revis says he also enjoys drawing “things similar to letters and numbers.” In the future, he hopes to become a police officer.
