Town Halls

As part of UMB’s accreditation self-evaluation, the University must show compliance with the seven standards established by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.

Many people of the UMB community participated in one or all of the community town halls. Attendees were asked to work within a small group to provide feedback on specific standards and the outline of a chapter of the Middle States Self-Study.

Mission and Goals / Ethics and Integrity: Oct. 3

More than 120 members of the UMB community shared their insights and ideas Oct. 3 at the first of four Middle States town halls. Each town hall examines aspects of the seven standards established by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education used to evaluate the University in the accreditation process. This first stage of our self-evaluation focused on Standards 1 and 2: Mission and Goals, and Ethics and Integrity.
