Ethics Hotline

Welcome to the UMB and Maryland Global Initiatives Corporation (MGIC) Ethics Hotline.

UMB and MGIC are committed to conducting business with the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. We expect the same of our employees and other personnel who may be acting or performing services on our behalf.

All UMB and MGIC personnel, including consultants, students, and volunteers, have a responsibility to report suspected misconduct, including concerns about fraud, waste, abuse, harassment, and illegal behavior.  We also encourage those who have interacted with UMB and MGIC country offices and/or staff, such as clients, business partners, beneficiaries, and other parties, to report ethics concerns and potential violations of the applicable US and international laws or regulations using this hotline.

The Ethics Hotline is not an emergency service, if you require immediate emergency assistance, please contact the local authorities before proceeding with this form.

If you are an employee, student, or other UMB or MGIC personnel, we encourage you to speak to your supervisor, Country Director, or another member of senior management about your concerns. You may still submit your concerns through the ethics hotline in addition to reporting to management if you so choose.

If you are not an employee or do not feel comfortable reporting your concerns through management, please submit your concerns through the hotline link below.  This hotline does not retain any information about users, their location, or the device through which they accessed the webpage and will allow you to remain anonymous if you so choose.

We strive to review all reports as promptly and thoroughly as possible and greatly appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain our commitment to integrity and professionalism in our operations.

UMB and MGIC policy and US law strictly prohibit retaliation in any form for the reporting of suspected misconduct in good faith.  Intentionally dishonest or abusive reporting will be investigated and may result in disciplinary action.
