The Leaders in Education: Academy of Presidential Scholars (LEAPS) initiative hosts an annual symposium featuring a keynote presentation, interactive sessions on inclusive teaching and learning approaches, and recognition of distinguished educators and instructional innovation seed grant award winners.

Session Proposal Abstract

Authors are invited to submit abstracts for sessions related to advances and best practices related to technology use in education, learning, and assessment.

Educator Award Nomination

The LEAPS Distinguished Educator Awards are designed to recognize exceptional teaching, mentoring, and educational scholarship activities of UMB faculty members, preceptors, and mentors.

Seed Grant Proposal

This grant program is intended to provide the opportunity to experiment, test, or implement a teaching innovation that addresses an important instructional concern and improves teaching and student learning with the goal of increasing student success.
