Construction and Facilities Strategic Acquisitions (CFSA)

Construction and Facilities Strategic Acquisitions supports all facilities maintenance and construction by soliciting competitive bids and proposals and administering the resulting contracts.

Design and Construction (D&C)

Design and Construction provides facilities programming, design, and construction services to the UMB schools and administration, ranging from small space renovations to large capital projects, including those on the UMB, UMBC, Towson, UBalt, and Coppin State campuses. 

Environmental Services (EVS)

Environmental Services provides a clean, healthy, and safe environment for all students, faculty, and staff by utilizing safe cleaning products and procedures for everyone. EVS consists of custodial services, grounds, pest control, and the moving, recycling, and special events teams.

Operations and Maintenance (O&M)

Operations and Maintenance provides maintenance services to campus buildings including repairs, inspections, and maintenance of building systems including electricity, water, heat, and air conditioning.

Project Delivery

Project Delivery was created in 2023 to drive and support process improvements for construction and maintenance projects, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Sustainability

The Office of Sustainability was created in August 2021 to solidify UMB's commitment to the environment through institutional decisions and the actions of the campus community.
