Public and Occupational Health develops programs to promote and maintain the physical, mental, and social well-being of our university community. Programs include, but are not limited to, the ongoing monitoring and analysis of injury, illness, and disease surveillance data; administration of occupational health information system(s); oversight of work-related medical care and prevention services; initiatives to reduce or lessen the impact of work-related injuries or illnesses; systems and processes to prepare and respond to public health emergencies or disasters; health educational programs; management of emergency medical equipment; regulatory compliance oversight; and development of policies and procedures to promote public and occupational health.
