Chili Cook-off Fundraiser ^
11 a.m. - 2 p.m. | Pharmacy Hall Atrium
Come join us during lunch for our first ever, chili cookoff. All proceeds go to STAR TRACK at University of Maryland Children’s Hospital Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine addressing the complicated needs of adolescents who are infected with HIV. Purchase 1 bowl of chili for $3, and any additional bowls of chili for $2. Purchase 1 bowl of chili for $3, and any additional bowls of chili for $2. Participants who bring their APhA soup mug, get a $1 dollar discount off chili!
Facing AIDS Campaign Photobooth ^^
10 a.m. - 3 p.m. | Pharmacy Hall Atrium
The University of Maryland-Baltimore campus will participate in this national campaign to reduce stigma and share why and how they are “Facing AIDS.” In support of our nation’s first National HIV/AIDS Strategy, there will be an interactive photo booth to carry out this awareness building activity. At the end of the week, images will be uploaded to the “Facing AIDS” website as a symbol of solidarity in our campus-wide response to the HIV epidemic. Click here to visit the Facing AIDS website.
