Biography: Jessie O’Kane is a 4^th year student at the University of Maryland, school of pharmacy.  She received her B.S. in Biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2002.  After graduation, she worked for the University of Maryland, School of Medicine coordinating a research study on biomarkers of alcohol abuse in pregnancy.  During the past 3 years, she has been active in USGA serving one year as a senator and two as treasurer.  In addition, she serves on pharmacy school specific organizations, including APhA and PLS.  When she manages to secure some free time, she loves to go hiking, swimming, read a good “non-school” book, go out dancing, play racquetball, and eat sushi.
