Anyone can participate in the USGA, whether officially elected by a school or simply as an interested student. The USGA is UMB's means of hearing the voices of students in University governance. It represents and is accountable to its student contituency. If you can't become directly involved but want to make your ideas and concerns known, call your school representative or Cynthia Rice, the USGA adviser, at 6-7117/7714 (voice/TTD). While every University student is a general member of the USGA, leadership and representation in the organization are officially decided by your school's student government association or your class. Each school selects USGA representatives annually. The total number of representatives is based on school or program enrollment. If you want to be an offical representative or alternate, see your school's student affairs professional or your student government president. Find your school's student government |
