Biography: My name is Tina Abrefa-Gyan and I was born in, and grew up in Ghana, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Social Work. While a student in the University of Ghana, Legon, I served in many capacities, including serving on the Student government council and as a Senator for my Hall of residence.  I am currently a first year PhD student of the School of social work and I am enjoying the experience of being at an institution with opportunities to work with so many students in various disciplines. I am truly looking forward to serving as a Senator this year!
