Biography:   I am a fourth year PhD student in the Graduate School in the Program of Molecular Medicine. My research focus is on physiology, specifically the mechanisms regulating cardiac electrophysiology. Once I graduate, and in the future, I hope to go into academia and become a professor. I am from Virginia, went to undergrad at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA, and graduated in 2005 with a B.S. in Biology. In my free time, I like to run, love to dance, and mostly just have fun with my friends. I love going to Orioles games when I can. Hopefully this year I'll get to meet many more people.
