The ISO is the parent organizations of most of the cultural organizations on campus, and works to coordinate efforts between the different organizations.

Muslim Students and Scholars Association

The MSSA is dedicated to fostering fellowship among all UMB students through the planning, development, and implementation of various programmatic initiatives.  Our organization is an umbrella organization which is open to all students at UMB, and serves to provide support for its members.  We provide spiritual and social support for our members, as well as various educational opportunities for our members as well as the UMB campus as a whole, in order to enrich the intellectual atmosphere we have here on campus.  Our services and programs serve to fill a need created by students, specifically Muslim students, living away from an organized Muslim community and its social structure.
