 | | | Writing Center Overview The core of the Writing Center is the individual instruction provided to students by professional consultants. While grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and APA style are important, larger issues, such as critical thinking and writing style, are considered too. Our goal is to help each student become a more confident, independent writer. Appointments The Writing Center is open weekdays and some evenings. To schedule an appointment, call 410-706-7725. - Plan ahead. Multiple sessions may be needed to complete a paper before its due date.
- Notify the Writing Center at 410-706-7725 if you will miss an appointment or will arrive late. A day's notice is required for canceled appointments.
- Fill out an information form on your first visit and complete an evaluation form at the end of each semester.
