Note: When creating a shortcut to SIMS, use the following link:

Note: When Updating Java on your pc, make sure you deselect the box to install any toolbars.
Adding toolbars will cause SIMS to fail.
- Installing SSH Secure Shell Client File transfers
- Installing Crystal Reports Runtime Files (MS Word)
When experiencing Internet Explorer errors while attempting to run Banner, try the following solutions.
- Create a Desk Top shortcut for Banner SIMS
- Remove extra IE toolbars. (ex. Yahoo, Google, MSN ….)
- For Data Execution Prevention Errors (DEP), complete the following:
- Right Click My Computer
- Click Properties
- Click Advanced
- Click Settings, then Performance
- Click Data Execution Prevention tab
- Select the item labeled “Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only”
Or “Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services except for those that I select”
Then Add Internet explorer
