Letters to the UMB Community
Take Part in the Maryland Charity Campaign
We've discovered a problem with the system used to generate unique employee giving numbers for the Maryland Charity Campaign. Please contact campaign chair Bill Crockett directly for your giving number. Mr. Crockett may be reached at 410-706-5743. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Jay A. Perman, MD
As we approach the season of giving, I ask that you consider a contribution to one or more of your favorite nonprofits through the Maryland Charity Campaign (MCC). The MCC is a workplace giving program that allows state employees to make charitable donations using payroll deduction, credit card, or check. UMB's campaign will run through Dec. 15, 2017.
Please visit the Maryland Charity Campaign to search a list of the 900 charitable organizations taking part. To make a pledge, you'll need your unique employee giving number, which you'll find below. If you encounter any problems with your giving number, please contact campaign chair Bill Crockett at 410-706-5743.
Employee Giving No.: P7037380
MCC-participating charities support all kinds of worthy causes, and I'm sure you'll find an organization whose mission touches your heart. If you wish to donate to the UMB Foundation—which supports the University's critically important work in education, research, clinical care, and public service—please use MCC Code/EIN: 311678679.
I'm well aware of your generous spirit, so I predict another admirable showing in this year's campaign. Thank you for your contribution, and for bringing hope to so many Marylanders in need.
Jay A. Perman, MD
