Do you know?
...what to do if you forget your UMB OneCard and need to park on campus?
Monday through Friday, a monthly parker (with an access card and permit) may go to the Parking Cashier's Office, located in the SMC Campus Center (lower level), with the white ticket received upon entry and request a voucher to exit the garage for that day.
Fall 2017 Parking Voucher Program
Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) is offering another option to students looking to save on their fall 2017 parking fees. Free parking vouchers to the Lexington Market Garage will be available on high demand days. Historically, the highest demand days have been Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays of the first four weeks of September. After September, these days typically fall to just one or two days a week.
How it Works
To take advantage of these free parking vouchers, arrive to the UMB Lexington Street Garage anytime after 7 a.m. and tell the cashier/manager you are interested in the free parking voucher program. If the high parking demand for the day warrants redirecting parkers and vouchers are still available, you will be provided a voucher, directions to the garage, and instructions for how to use the voucher. As is the case with other PTS parking programs, with a receipt you will be able to move your car after 4 p.m. at no charge to any of the UMB campus garages.
Be mindful that you must obtain a receipt from the pay station at the Lexington Market Garage and present the receipt to the attendant at the garage you relocate to.
Even if you don’t plan to take advantage of the free parking voucher program, please plan to arrive early. There is a high probability during those high demand days that you will be redirected to another garage as the Lexington Street Garage fills up quickly.
