	J-1 Scholar Orientation Next: Friday, June 14^th at 10:00 a.m. in Room 309 of the SMC Campus Center This program assists in acclimating to the university, Baltimore, and the United States. Topics covered would include applicable immigration regulations, office and university services, concepts of cross-cultural communication, housing information, and community resources.
	International Scholar & Student Travel Workshop Next: Wednesday, November 13^th at 12:00 p.m. This workshop reviews the process for re-entry to the United States and the process for applying for renewal of the U.S. visa stamp. F-1 and J-1 travel issues will be covered.
	Conversation, Communication and Culture (C3) Next: Fall 2013 - Stay tuned to hear about when we will meet during Fall 2013! A weekly group co-sponsored by the OIS and the Writing Center that explores facets of culture and language and how they impact intercultural interactions. This group meets weekly in the evenings during the academic year. Check out the conversation topics for Spring 2013!
	Student Group Events Learn about upcoming events sponsored by various campus groups with an international theme.
	Student Employment Workshop Next: Wednesday, September 25^th at 12:00 p.m. This workshop is designed to provide information to F-1 and J-1 students regarding employment benefits they are eligible for, how to apply, and timing issues.
	International Student Orientation Next: Wednesday, August 14^th at 5:00 p.m. Welcome all new international students to the University of Maryland Baltimore! Come and meet student leaders and hear presentations from various offices regarding immigration, Social Security Numbers, adjusting to life in the U.S., health insurance, banking, and how you can get involved.
	Immigration Options for International Students & Scholars Next: This event has passed for the 2012-2013 school year. An immigration attorney will provide information about employment-based immigration sponsorship for international students & scholars.
