Interprofessional Education (IPE) Task Force
President Jay A. Perman, MD, has established an IPE task force that is charged with creating or broadening existing opportunities for interdisciplinary education. Its formation was announced Dec. 8, 2010, during the presentation, “‘We’: Interprofessionalism in Healthcare Education and Delivery,” in which Perman and co-presenter, Elsie Stines, MS, CPNP, explained the concept. To help in preparing a plan to implement this concept at the university, the task force is seeking input from interested parties who are urged to contact them in person or by email.
