University Events
University Events is responsible for planning and executing all events hosted or sponsored by the president of the University, including Founders Week, held every October. We also consult with all constituencies of the University to plan events large and small.
Management of the T. Sue Gladhill Board Room in the Health and Human Services Library is now managed by HS/HSL Administration. Request use of the Board Room.
What we do
University Events provides event and protocol expertise to the campus community and collaborates with the schools and business units to implement major campus events. The office is responsible for developing, scheduling and planning all major campus events hosted or sponsored by the President, including Commencement, a series of five Founders Week events, and other special programs and activities to promote and benefit the University and greater community.

Craft Fair
The University of Maryland Handmade and Homemade Holiday Craft Fair will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Southern Management Corporation Campus Center, 621 W. Lombard Street, 2nd Floor.
