On behalf of the Muslim Students and Scholars Association, we would like to welcome you all. Congratulations on attending here in this new step of your career at the University of Maryland. We hope that we can add to your experience, by facilitating all of your Islamic needs here and around campus, and to maintain a healthy Islamic community where we can all work to achieve noble goals.
The MSSA is responsible for holding all five daily prayers in congregation between both University hospitals, a Jumuah prayer on campus, as well as coordinating iftar every year during Ramadan. We also hold a number of social, educational, and outreach events. If you would like to be on our e-mail list for regular weekly updates, please send an email to us.
Should you have any specific questions or concerns, feel free to email me and I hope to get back to you as soon as possible.
Jazakum Allah Khairan.
