2011 Malawi Project

MalawiIn the summer of 2011, six University of Maryland students, one from each of the University's six professional schools in Baltimore, and several faculty members went to Malawi, Africa, for six weeks to participate in an interdisciplinary research project to examine health care access for malaria patients there.

It was part of a continuing program through the University┬╣s Global Health Resource Center, which brings together students as well as faculty from different fields to work on singular projects in the developing world.
