Ways to Partner
One-time service projects provide a student with an opportunity that does not require an ongoing commitment. Typically, these activities do not require extensive training. Your project can be geared toward an individual, small group or larger group.
Ongoing service projects are those that require a commitment from the student. The duration and frequency of the activity is based on the need of your organization and the students’ schedules. These activities may require more training surrounding the expectations that you have for the students.
A service-learning project is an opportunity for a student to apply his or her in-class learning to real-world situations. Service learning has a reciprocal benefit for the student and the community organization through a partnership.
