    The President's Initiatives are joint programs between the President’s Office and the Office of Interprofessional Student Learning & Service Initiatives.   The President's Initiatives include the President's Student Leadership Institute and the President's Symposium and White Paper Project. 

Preparing students for professional leadership in a diverse and global society.

PSLI Lunch & Learn Sessions

The PSLI Lunch & Learn sessions will follow a seminar-based format, with seminars offered throughout the academic year on a rotating basis. All UM students will be invited to participate – regardless of previous leadership experience. The seminars will be taught by resident experts from various departments and schools on the UM campus.

2012-2013 White Paper Topic 

The 2012-2013 President's Fellows will be posed with the question: How can UM Instill Civility as a Core Instructional Value in Educating Health, Legal and Human Services Professionals? 

This topic will provide the opportunity to continue the interdisciplinary conversation begun in the 2011-2012 academic year while shifting the focus to the importance of Civility on a health science, human service and law campus.
