Dental School

Drs. Horace Hayden and Chapin Harris started the world's first dental college here in 1840, known also as the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery.  Their program has been a model for dental education, balancing scientific knowledge and clinical skills.  The School was the first in America to teach the performance logic approach to dentistry.  It offers advanced education in seven specialties.
