About Middle States
Every 10 years, UMB undergoes a reaffirmation of its accreditation with The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). The process is an opportunity to strengthen the University through a comprehensive evaluation.
Middle States Accreditation Reaffirmed
On June 23, 2016, the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) received its Statement of Accreditation Status from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The Middle States commission commended UMB for the "quality of the self-study process and report."
