UMB was first accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education in 1921. The most recent on-site evaluation was April 2016. The most recent Periodic Review Report was submitted in June 2011.
At its session on June 23, 2016 the Middle States Commission on Higher Education acted to reaffirm accreditation and to commend UMB for the quality of the self-study process and report. The date for the next accreditation review will be determined by the commission when it revises the accreditation cycle. The next self-study evaluation is tentatively scheduled for 2025-2026.
