myUM Portal

Users can access the myUM Portal from the following web address: https://directory.umaryland.edu.  The myUM Portal is an online gateway to campus information and resources.  The myUM Portal will provide you with news, activities, and campus information specific to your school. Some of the systems accessible through the myUM Portal include:

  • eUM HRMS
  • eUM Financials
  • eUM RAVEN
  • COEUS
  • Effort Reporting System
  • Electronic Timesheet
Users can also update their campus contact information after logging into the myUM Portal.

Q:What is the myUM Portal username and password? 
A:

The myUM Portal uses UM Authentication.  Log in with your UMID and Password.

Q:What do I do if I have unsuccessfully logged on more than 6 times and have locked my account? 
A:

Your myUM Portal account will be automatically unlocked after 10 minutes.  If you need immediate access, please contact the IT Help Desk to have your account unlocked.

Q:How do I change my Campus Contact Information? 
A:

Employees (faculty and staff) and Affiliates can update their Campus Contact information from the myUM Portal Page.  Once you are signed on with your UMID and Password, click on the “My UM Employee Self Service” or "My UM Affiliate Self Service" tab located in the upper-left corner of the screen. 

Once you have accessed "My UM Information and Tasks," click on the "My UM Campus Information" link.

Q:How do I change my Emergency Contact Information? 
A:

Employees (faculty and staff) can update their Emergency Contact information from the myUM Portal Page.  Once you are signed on with your UMID and Password, click on  “My UM Employee Self Service” tab located in the upper-left corner of the screen.

Once you have accessed "My UM Information and Tasks," click on the "My Emergency Contacts" link.

Q:The "UM Employee Info and Tasks" or "UM Affiliate Info and Tasks" section is blank!  There are no links available.
A:

When you click on the "UM Employee Info and Tasks" or "UM Affiliate Info and Tasks" tab and only a ‘blank’ section appears with the UM Portal banner on the top and no links, the area that shows links may be minimized.  Here are instructions on how to expand the area. 

Find the “UM Employee Info and Tasks” or “UM Affiliate Info and Tasks” banner and look to the right.  There may be a small button with a ‘square’ on it.  Click on that button to expand the area.
