Configuring Smart Phones to Sync with Your GoogleApps@UMaryland Email Account

Google Sync offers two-way synchronization between GoogleApps@UMaryland and the mail, calendar, and contacts apps on Android phones, the iPhone & iPad, Blackberry, Windows Mobile devices, and other Java-enabled phones.

There are 2 steps necessary to configure your phone to access your GoogleApps@UMaryland account:

1. Verify/set an Apps password. Click here for the instructions.
2. Configure your phone:
   1. iPhone / iPad
   2. Android (Be sure to select "Google" when prompted for Type of Account, instead of "Corporate.")
   3. Blackberry (Click here for email.  Click here for Contacts and Calendar.)
   4. Windows Mobile
   5. Other Java-enabled phones
