UMnet Instructions Provided By ASC

As of Monday, January 12th UMnet users will not be able to access their UMnet email through OpenWebmail, POP or IMAP.

Over the Fall 2008 semester the Center for Information Technology Services (CITS) has been reminding the current Umnet users to move their accounts from the UMnet system to the new myUMB Mail system.

If you have not moved your UMnet email account yet, please go to http://www.umaryland.edu/helpdesk/myumbmigration.html for instructions on how to migrate your email account. This move will not change your university email address and all of the messages you have stored in the UMnet system will be transferred to the myUMB Mail system.

After you finish the migration process you can access your myUMB Mail account at https://webmail.umaryland.edu.

If you need assistance with the mail migration process, please contact the CITS Assistance and Service Center Help Desk between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM at 410-706-HELP (4357) or send e-mail to help@umaryland.edu
