UMB Affiliate

An affiliate is an individual that needs access to University resources, but is not an employee paid by the University or is not a student registered for courses with the University.

University resources include:

  • Access to programs that require a myUMB ID and login
    • COEUS
    • eUMB HRMS, Financials, RAVEN
    • Effort Reporting
    • myUMB Mail
  • Other systems that require an account in the myUMB Directory
    • UMB1One Card
    • Campus Directory

NOTE: Getting an affiliate account will not automatically grant an individual access to resources that require that the individual be a student or paid employee of the University for example:

  • Access to Library Resources
  • Software Purchasing and Discounts

The user will also need to fill out any access forms (i.e. eUMB User Authorization Forms) to gain access to certain programs after their Affiliate account is created.  

Examples of Affiliates:

  • A Hospital, UPI, or VA employee that needs a myUMB Mail account or a University ID card
  • A visiting student that needs a myUMB Mail or Blackboard account
  • A volunteer faculty member
  • A Postdoctoral Scholar or Fellow that is paid with a grant or stipend
