The Executive Sponsors for Quantum Financials are Dawn Rhodes, Chief Business and Finance Officer and Vice President, Peter Murray, Chief information Officer and Vice President, and Scott Bitner, Associate Vice President for Budget and Finance.
The Quantum Financials project team, led by project managers, Kevin Curley, Executive Director of Financial Systems and Diane Faranetta, Senior Director, Enterprise Applications for the Center for Information Technology Services (CITS), includes representatives from UMB central administrative offices and CITS working together with our implementation partners from Oracle Consulting, Huron Consulting, and Navigator Partners.
The project team has engaged subject matter experts (SMEs) from schools and departments across UMB. The SMEs are stakeholders with domain expertise from departments or lines of business most affected by the application modules being implemented. SMEs are responsible for working with the project team, providing their subject expertise to assist with decision making, configuration, testing, and approval of the new functionality.
The Advisory Council is comprised of senior level administrators and faculty who provide advice and input to the project team on policy changes, timing, staffing implications, and other impacts of the new system and business processes. The Advisory Council is a resource to the project team to help support the project across the campus at all levels of management.
