Applying for aid

Financial aid is provided by the UMB Office of Student Financial Assistance & Education (SFAE).  Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid www.fafsa.ed.gov and list the University of Maryland, Baltimore, School Code 002104.

SFAE will receive a list of admitted students to the program and will verify the receipt of the FAFSA and other eligibility for federal loans. 

Awarding

Eligible students will receive an award notification from UMB on or after May 1st.  Students must determine if they wish to receive loans and follow the instructions to secure the loans. Students will be considered for the Federal Direct Unsubsidized Stafford Loan and the Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan. 

Cost of Attendance

The cost of attendance will include the cost at UMB and Anne Arundel Community College.  UMB will send funds to Anne Arundel Community College for tuition and fees.  For tuition information, visit the UMB Graduate School. Please note: Students must maintain enrollment at both institutions and maintain satisfactory academic progress to continue to receive federal financial aid.
