In this first installment of FEW's two-part series on investing, you will learn the basics of investing and how to start investing using online resources.
Investing 201: Introduction to Planning for Retirement

Driven to Defraud: Film Screening and Panel Discussion

Planning to buy a car? Learn the tricks of the trade before you go shopping! Driven to Defraud, a 30-minute documentary film produced by the Maryland Consumer Rights Coalition, provides insight from Marylanders who were victims of auto dealer fraud and advice from experts who will explain how you can avoid getting ripped off. Special guest panelists: Peter Holland - Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, Jane Santoni - Partner at Williams & Santoni, LLP and Marceline White - Executive Director of the Maryland Consumer Rights Coalition. Open to UMB students and employees.
