2009-2010 Academic Year Calendar of Important Dates
January 1, 2009
Submit 2009-2010 FAFSA to the Department of Education.
February 1, 2009
Maryland residents, enrolled in M.D., DDS, J.D., Pharm.D., MSW, or Nursing MS degrees at UMB, should submit the Professional School Scholarship Application. We will notify you of the exact date when the applications will be available from our office.
March 1, 2009
This is the deadline for Maryland residents who wish to be considered for a state scholarship. For more information about state scholarships for Maryland residents, please click here.

This is UMB's priority award date. You should file your FAFSA as soon as possible after January 1 and before this date.
April 1, 2009
Awarding for the 2009-2010 academic year begins. Returning students should check their UMB campus e-mail addresses. New students should check the e-mail they listed on the FAFSA on a regular basis! No paper notification will be sent to students. When you receive e-mail notification that you have been awarded, you will be directed to SimsWeb to view and accept or decline your offer of financial aid.
