CSSA_UMB is a volunteer-run, non-profitable, non-political organization, aiming to serve the Chinese community at UMB in public entertainment, culture development and information exchange.
UMB was founded in 1807, the University is Maryland's only public academic health, human services, and law center. Seven professional and graduate schools train the majority of the state's physicians, nurses, dentists, lawyers, social workers, and pharmacists. Sponsored research totaled $324 million in Fiscal Year 2003. With 5,476 students, 6,100 faculty members and staff. You will find UMB a prominent school where you can pursue the most advanced topic in your research. We also hope you feel at home here in the Chinese community.
To help new comers settle down easily and quickly, we are trying to give a hand in pick-up and housing, and organize an orientation in early September.
