Letter from the President of the CSSA.
Dear Friends of the UMB CSSA,
First, I’d like to express my sincere appreciation for all of you who joined us during the September 22 festivities. It was my pleasure to be able to put a smile on your face. I was extremely delighted to see so many of you together spending time and sharing laughter with your family and friends. It’s unfortunate, however, that Fire and Safety Regulations did not permit us to provide more tables and chairs and we have deeply underestimated the number of attendants. For that, I’d like to ask for your understanding. We will investigate the root of the situation and learn from this experience in order to better serve you during our future events.
I’d like to show appreciation to members of my team who have sacrificed many hours to put this event together and my special thanks to all volunteers who have helped in realizing such a wonderful evening. It is soon the night of the true Mid-Autumn and on behalf of the entire UMB CSSA 07’-08’ committee, I wish you all a cheerful, affectionate, and fulfilling Mid-Autumn with your loved ones.
Please forward my appreciations to your family and friends not on this mailing list who also spent the Moon Festival with us. We hope to see you again next year! Please write to me should you have any inquiries. We are always delighted to meet new friends! If you are interested in our organization, please visit our website www.umaryland.edu/cssa.
