Purpose The “Chinese Students and Scholars Association” (CSSA) at University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) extends its services beyond the walls of the school to the Greater Baltimore area in order to create a sense of belongingness for new and established Chinese individual, to help forge new friendship, and to promote collaborations by eliminating cultural barriers. With this in mind, the 2007 UMB CSSA Committee has many projects ready to set sail. However, without proper resources, even with the most prominent launches, our efforts cannot be kept afloat. With the interest of the Chinese community in mind, and our dedications at hand, we would like to propose a sponsorship opportunity. We’d like to raise 700$ for a projector and a screen to use during our indoor activities such as Moon Festival and Spring Festival, Karaoke Competitions, Social nights, and other UMB CSSA hosted events. Proposition In return of each sponsor's contributions, the UMB CSSA is prepared to offer the following: 1) Add a logo and link on the Sponsors page on our website for one year, 2) Display logo on the first page of ALL presentations given using the projector for one year. These are our initial propositions and therefore nothing has set in stones and we are willing to negotiate.
