I write with regard to a rare opportunity to meet and help businesses from both China and the US to build partnerships.
MeetChinaBiz, a business development and networking group with chapters in multiple cities, is organizing a matchmaking program with a Chinese delegation of 30-40 executives on Thursday, August 23, 2007 from 8:30 AM - 12 PM at the City Hall of Philadelphia (please visit www.MeetChinaBiz.org for more info).
Up to 100 US businesses are expected to attend the event to meet their counterparts from China. The organizers would thus like to find a select group of experienced, bilingual volunteer US-China Business Facilitators (UCBFs) to help broker these first encounters of business people from drastically different backgrounds. As a token of gratitude, the UCBFs would be able to attend the event for free.
If you are (or are pursuing a career as) a US-China business specialist, and speak both Chinese and English fluently (esp. in a 'biz. dev.' or negotiation setting), please send an email with your CV to ws(at)meetchinabiz.org (Subject: UCBF 2007). Those with relevant background and/or experience will be given priority.
