Students in the Counseling Waiting Room

  • UMB Student Counseling Center

We provide professional counseling and psychiatric services for currently enrolled full and part-time UMB Students. Our goal is to help promote and maintain the emotional wellbeing of UMB students and serve as a resource to the entire University community.

The UMB Student Counseling Center will close for Labor Day on Monday, Sep 1st.   We will re-open again at 8:30 a.m. on Tues Sep 2, 2014.

The UMB Student Health Center provides coverage for the UMB Student Counseling Center when we are not open.  We will not be listening to voicemail messages during the holiday break.  If you have an emergency when we are closed, go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.

If you are a currently receiving medication management services at the UMB Student Counseling Center, please plan in advance. Make sure that you have enough medication so that you do not run out over the holiday break.

Additional emergency resources are also listed on this site under Crisis Care on the left side column.

We hope that you have an enjoyable and restful holiday break!
