The upgrade to the Coeus 4.3.4 software version has been completed. What’s new and different?
NIH K series forms: A key form is now available in this version of Coeus.
For NIH K series forms, the citizenship of PI is required. To enter this information the user will need the role of “Person Maintainer”. If this field is grayed out, contact ORD staff. Those with the Person Maintainer role should do the following for the PI of a K series application: Go to Person Details and click the “Other” tab. Enter the appropriate code as follows: C = U.S. Citizenship N = Permanent Resident of U.S. A = Non-U.S. Citizen with temporary visa
Department of Defense (DOD) forms: One of the mandatory forms for most DOD proposals is called “Attachments V1-1” and requires the Narrative Type called “Attachments”. The bug has been fixed in this version of Coeus and the form is available. Award Module - View Award Documents: the current Award Module users at department level should now be able to view award documents. The bug has been fixed in this version. Note: If a user cannot view award documents at their own department level, contact ORD staff as we need to add the “View Award Documents” right. Also, to have an access to Coeus Award Module, the training is required.
NSPIRES User Name: There is a new tab called “Other” within Proposal Development Module. This tab is being used for NASA proposals. Leave this field blank unless the proposal is being submitted to NASA.
“State” field for Canadian “Province”: If a proposal has collaborators or other significant key persons located in Canada, go to Person Details, click Contact Info tab, then fill in the Canadian province using “State” field. This field will be populated into RR Key Person form. Please contact ORD staff if you encounter any problems.
