Getting the Software – Employees personal use and Students
Employees looking to acquire software for personal use and students can purchase software from the Circulation Desk in the Health Sciences and Human Services Library. Click here for a list of available software. When you come to purchase the software, be sure to bring your University of Maryland Identification Card.
Note: Payment must be made in the form of cash, check or credit cards. Credit cards accepted are Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
Distance Education Students
If you are a distance education student or you live more than 30 miles from the University, the software can be mailed directly to you. There is a $5 shipping and handling fee applied towards the purchase of your software.
Step 1: Download, read, and complete the Student Agreement Forms for the software you are purchasing

Step 2: Payment
If you are paying by credit card, please download and complete the credit card authorization form. Fax the appropriate Student Agreement forms and the credit card authorization form to the software licensing office. Our fax number is (410) 706-0545.
