Purchasing Information for Software for Departmental Use

Departmental Purchases:

Paid faculty and staff of the University of Maryland, Baltimore only. Software must be purchased and installed only on machines that are owned or leased by the University. Software must be purchased by the department, not with personal funds. Orders are placed with the Software Licensing Office.

For concurrent license purchases, software must be picked up and installed by your departmental IT Support person.

Payment methods:

  • Journal Entry Authorization form (may be emailed, faxed, sent via inter-office mail, or delivered in person)

Must show a UMB One Card at time of purchase.  Must be an active employee.

Returns/exchanges are not accepted.  ALL SOFTWARE SALES ARE FINAL. We cannot ensure the software has not been installed or copied, and therefore cannot accept returns.
