The University of Maryland, Baltimore has entered into a software Licensing contract with Novell Corporation to provide access to Novell software at the best price possible.
Departments can now create a userid and password for themselves that allows them to log into the Novell Portal to download software once they become available. Novell Administrators on campus would not have to wait for the software licensing Office to purchase a cd before proceeding with their upgrade or installation. Who is Eligible
The software is available to only to departments who have paid their yearly license fee to the Software Office. Such department must be located on the campus of the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

- Lan WorkPlace Pro

- Account Management for Windows
- Account Management for Unix
- DirXML suite (includes drivers for Active Directory, NDS, Exchange, LDAP, Notes, NT Domain and Delimited)
- Border Manager
- DirXML Password synchronization for Windows
- eDirectory
- GroupWise
- iFolder
- Novell ZenWorks Patch Management

Purchasing the software
The software can be purchased from the Software Licensing Office. We are located in the HS/HSL building, rm 230. The software would be sold to departments who have paid their yearly license fee for the product. We accept only IDTs as a form of payment.
License Information
The software is available to departments who have paid the yearly license fee for Novell. The license fee is $17 per seat.
