HFnetChk Pro
The University of Maryland, Baltimore has entered into a software licensing contract with Shavlik Technologies Corporation to provide access to HFnetChk Pro software at the best price possible. HFnetChk Pro is a security patch management software.
Who is Eligible
The software is available to the following departments/schools:
- School of Medicine
- School of Social Work
- School of Dentistry
- School of Pharmacy
- School of Law
- Center for Information Technology (CITS)
- Health Sciences and Human Services Library (HS/HSL)
- EHS
- Administration & Finance (A&F)
- Facility Management
What is Available
The University is currently licensed for the following Shavlik Technologies product:
- HFnetChk Pro 3.8
- HFnetChk Pro 4.0
What is the Cost
The current costs for participating in the HFnetChk Pro contract is $1 per license. Costs for the software are distributed to participating departments on a yearly basis.
Purchasing the Software
Departments who have paid their license fees would be sent a link where they can download the software directly from the vendor's website. A copy of the software on CD can also be purchased through the Software Licensing office for $10 per media. We accept only JE form.
