The Software Office will take advantage of the University's purchasing power to negotiate the best possible price and value on volume software purchases. The office would ensure the availability of site license or educationally-priced software to members of the University community.
The following products are currently available to departments on campus. This can be purchased from the Software licensing office. We are located on the 2nd floor, Room 230 of the Health Sciences and Human Services Library (HS/HSL).
The Software Licensing Office also offers CD duplication services to the campus. We have the ability to produce both colored and black and white labels. We also have the ability to produce DVDs. CD duplication will cost $2/per cd. For DVDs, please call the Software Office for pricing.

License Information
Site license for Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows Operating systems (2000/XP, Vista), and Visual Studio Professional. All other products require a site license. To purchase a site license for all other Microsoft Products, the contact person is Bryan Zatkulak of Bell Technologies. His contact number is (888) 989-8560. You may pay your Norton, Novell, Symantec, SAS, AutoCAD, Mac, and HFNetchk Pro licenses directly to the Software Licensing Office.
Creating a Novell login profile
Departments who have paid their license fee for Novell can now download the full applications directly from the Novell website. To be able to do this, you have to be added to the list before you can download any product from the Novell website. Send us an email or call the software licensing office at (410) 706-8166 to request to be added to the portal. Once you are added to the list, you can now create a userid and password for yourself which gives you access to all the Novell products licensed by the University. Click here for instructions on how to create an account for yourself.
