Database Administration
The CITS Database Administration Group is responsible for the database design and management of the campus "enterprise level" database environments. This includes support of the development and production environments as it relates to installation of database software, capacity planning, database performance tuning, connectivity and security administration. In addition, the Database Group assists the applications and systems teams with the ongoing maintenance (e.g., upgrades, patches, applications tuning, trouble shooting) of the administrative and academic systems. The DBMS software consists of Turbo Image and Oracle. Current areas of involvement include:

The goal of the group is to ensure the availability, integrity and performance of these databases.
