UM Authorized Guest Account Login:
The UM Authorized Guest Account is for Temporary Internet Access to Visiting Users. A UM Faculty, Staff, or Student is able to create a temporary account and should follow the Terms and Conditions that are set in place. Please follow these quick steps to create a Guest Account. These accounts can be created up to 30 days in advance and expire after 30 days of use unless you remove the account through the account manager.
Steps 1 to 4 should be used by the UM Faculty, Staff, or Student that will be Sponsoring the user. The following steps are how to connect to the internet using this wireless connection.
Step1 To create a temporary Wireless Guest Account for Users, Contractors or Affiliates goto: https://nacguest.umaryland.edu Step2 Select Creat a single Guest Account which will open the Create Window. Step3 Fill out the information above fully and select Add User at the bottom left. Step4 You can either print this or send to the user to connect to the AuthGuest Wireless SSID. Step5 Open your Wireless Network Connections and select the UMB Auth Guest SSID from the network list. Select Connect at the bottom right of the window. This process may take up to 90 seconds to configure. Step6 The person who created your account should give you the credentials required to login. Use the supplied information to login after you read and accept the terms and conditions of using the UMB Wireless Services. Step7 When you are finished you will logout using the window that opened during login. If you accidently closed this window you can goto: https://1.1.1.1/logout.html 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 |
