The Assistance and Service Center (ASC), a part of the Center for Information Technology Services (CITS), is composed of a Help Desk, Software Licensing and PC Sales.

The Help Desk provides support to faculty, students and staff for all UMB Enterprise (campus-wide) applications including:

myUMB Portal

     Open Webmail
     Outlook 2003

HRMS - PeopleSoft Human Resources Management System
     Financials - PeopleSoft Financials System

     CE (Continuing Education)

     SIMS - Student Information Management System
     SURFS - Student User Friendly System


     Research Data Warehouse

The Software Licensing Office was created to assure the availability of site licensed or educationally-priced software to members of the University of Maryland computing community.  This office takes advantage of the University's purchasing power to negotiate the best possible price and value on volume software purchases.  For more information, click here
