Request for Unified Messaging

Upon the completion and submission of this form, unified messaging will be provided to the individual below.  There are two types of Unified Short Messaging Service (SMS) offered to users. The first (1.) is a simple notification in your email account that you have a voice mail message.  Selecting this option requires you to retrieve the message from the voice mail system.  The second option (2.) is to have voice mail messages delivered to your e-mail account.  Selecting this option will have the e-mail notification include an attached “voice.wav” file.  When the “voice.wav” file is opened, the voice mail message will start playing.

Please note that in order to hear the voice mail, you will need audio capability via your computer.  Please also note that these notifications are stored in your e-mailbox, and will consume, like e-mail messages, allotted disk space.  It is important that you manage your e-mailbox and periodically move older e-mail messages to Mail Folders.

For more information, please visit the Unified Messaging facts and Frequently Asked Questions and answers.

If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact the HelpDesk at 410-706-4357.
